Medici network - The Medici network (http://medici.in2p3.fr/) is a business network, interdisciplinary and multi-agency of public scientific publishing in France. Affecting all scientific disciplines and mobilizing beyond the CNRS, Medici involves everyone, actor of a publishing chain, whatever his affiliation, by stimulating the markets of public scientific publishing for a sustainable publishing, fair , respecting the different actors in the service of scientific thought.

 

2015 Symposium thematic - The theme chosen this year focuses on Multilingualism in the Euro-Mediterranean scientific publishing. The sharing of scientific knowledge and accessibility will be the major issues addressed through the prism of cultural diversity offered by the Mediterranean basin, central point for the development of an interdisciplinary dialogue on the place of french research actors in the international arena.

     

These events will focus on communication sessions and workshops on the following themes:

-        What language for what research?

-        Links writer-translator-editor

-        National editorial cultures ... through the prism of Europe

-        Technology publishing and diffusion of science

-        Issues of multilingualism in the distribution: economic, societal, political, legal and editorial

-        Recommendations / Outlook / Exploration Axes / Partnerships / Opening to H2020

-        Mediterranean Particularism

Duration : 2 days ½ with 1 day ½ communications (communications et roundtables) and 1 day workshops (4 technical workshops et 1 scientific training as part of learning of CNRS- Provence Regional Delegation)
