About Médici

The network of public sector academic publishing professionals  (Medici) mission is to:

•      initiate a transversal action that brings together the knowledge and techniques specific to public academisc publishing to share them by all;
•      plan training;
•      structure and unite the community of professionals in public academic publishing.

  The originality of Medici based on:

•      a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency links;
•      a survey focused on Public academic publishing in the professional component;
•      a national presence with a European focus.

  The main objectives of Medici network for 2015 are to:

•      undertake a mapping of public academic publishing profession to define a future projection of these activities in uniniversities & research centres;
•      propose professional training;
•      promote initiatives around the future technologies.
